Swerve Strickland Says He Told MJF He Was Jealous When He Saw Happy Gilmore 2 Scene with Eminem

Swerve Strickland would have leaked it if it was him.

MJF had a starring role in the sequel to Happy Gilmore, which premiered on Netflix and was a big hit for fans of the franchise from the past and present. The former AEW World Champion, MJF played one of the sons of Adam Sandler’s star character, Happy Gilmore.

One of the scenes included MJF and his brothers helping Gilmore get rid of a heckler, who was played by legendary rapper, Eminem, who was the victim to an alligator attack and killed off in the sequel movie.

During an interview with Big Gold Belt Media, Swerve Strickland recalls texting MJF the moment he saw him kill off B-Rabbit from 8 Miles.

“Shout out to MJF with the Happy Gilmore 2 launch on Netflix. I didn’t finish the movie. I want to watch it, the rest of it. But I saw him and Eminem, and I was like, ‘the whole year, I’m like, I’ve been looking at you in the eye in the locker room. You did not tell me Eminem was in your movie and you had a scene with him.’ He’s like, ‘I had to keep that shut for so long.’ He’s like, ‘it was hard. Trust me, it was hard. I was like, I’m better than me. Cause I would have leaked that shit. Like that would have been on the sheets, man. So yes, I was like, I, that was like one of the ones I’m like, I texted, I was like, I’m jealous of that one. That’s the one I’m jealous on.”

MJF is set to battle Hangman Adam Page at Forbidden Door for the AEW World Championship, executing his Casino Gauntlet match that he won at AEW All In, the same night Page reclaimed the world title from Jon Moxley.
