TNA President Carlos Silva Regarding A Video Game: “We Can Now Put That On The Docket”

Carlos Silva as the President of TNA Wrestling has been all over the media with talk of media rights and sponsorship, as well as goals for past and upcoming PPVs. One thing that has been brought to his radar is a video game.

“In terms of the game, we didn’t set that as a priority in these first six months since I’ve been here, but it’s now gotten added to the list. We had to do some things to really drive and create the kind of stuff that we have with Slammiversary. Like everything in an organisation, if you do too many things, you don’t get anything done, and so we had to concentrate on some successes but I think now coming out of some success, we can now put that on the docket and look to understand where we go with a TNA game for sure.”

TNA hasn’t had a video game since 2008, and it featured some favorites such as: Kurt Angle, Sting, AJ Styles, and Samoa Joe to name a few.

Former TNA President Scott D’Amore addressed the possibility of a TNA video game back in November of 2023. Scott said “it’s a project we’ll be working on as time progresses.”

Scott D’Amore was released from Anthem Sports/TNA Wrestling in February of 2024.

Carlos Silva adding this to his docket is a good sign as he works towards numerous new media rights deals in the US and internationally. Many TNA fans have been hoping for a new video game for a long time.
