“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard Reportedly Signs Long Term Extension With AEW

Daddy Magic is here to say

It was first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that All Elite Wrestling and ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard were able to work out a deal to extend Menard’s contract with AEW which will keep him under the banner for the next half couple of years.

The deal was reportedly set to expire during the build to AEW All In, but the two were able to ink down a new deal and keep Menard in AEW for the next five years, according to the report by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.

Menard has competed as of late as a semi-wrestler, usually teaming up with his longtime tag team partner, Angelo Parker, who also took some time off from AEW to be there for his wife and fellow AEW wrestler Ruby Soho who gave birth to their first born before the two tied the knot this past May.

Menard has been doing commentary for the last couple of years and remains a well-liked presence in the AEW locker room.
