WWE Reportedly Planning To Hold A Premium Live Event On The Same Day Of AEW’s All Out PPV

WWE will look to counter-product AEW once again.

Since the fire has gotten hotter for All Elite Wrestling, it’s been the WWE that has looked for different way to combat the fan appeal and audience that AEW has been able to bring in, in the last couple of months to a year.

This past July, AEW held their biggest event of the year, All In, which was held in Arlington, Texas at the Globe Life Field. That same weekend, the WWE decided to hold three events to counter-product AEW with the Great American Bash, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the all-women event, Evolution 2, the very next day.

Now, the WWE is looking to once again try and pull the rug from underneath the feet of AEW by holding an unannounced Premium Live Event on September 20th in Indianapolis, Indiana, the same day of All Out in Toronto, Ontario.

This was first reported by POST Wrestling’s John Pollock & Brandon Thurston on Monday, August 11th.

The WWE has attempted to hijack shows with their talent from NXT and those from Raw and SmackDown. We will keep you posted on what we hear in the future on this event and what it will be called when WWE has the opportunity to announce it for the fans.
