GCW Phoenix Event Update Brings Star-Studded Lineup to September

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has officially announced a major roster update for their highly anticipated GCW “Keep In Touch” event. The event brings significant star power to the Arizona wrestling scene, headlined by former WWE superstar Shotzi Blackheart.

The GSW will return to Phoenix, Arizona, as part of their September tour. The “Keep In Touch” event is scheduled for Friday, September 19th, at The Nile Theater in Mesa. So far, the show roster includes Shotzi Blackheart, Matt Tremont, Atticus Cogar, Bear Bronson, Mance Warner, Dr Redacted, Manders, YDNP, and Effy as confirmed signed.

The “Keep In Touch” event marks GCW’s fourth visit to The Nile Theater since establishing a regular presence in the Phoenix area. The event will attract wrestling fans and bettors alike, as Arizona sports betting sites are expected to offer wagering opportunities and potentially unique promotions in celebration of the GCW return to Arizona and the September tour in general.

Among the event’s highlights, former WWE superstar Shotzi Blackheart’s appearance represents a significant booking coup for GCW. The former WWE NXT Women’s Champion brings mainstream recognition to the independent wrestling scene. Notably, her last Southern California independent wrestling appearance dates back to August 2019. This makes September booking particularly exciting for longtime fans following “The Indy God’s” career with the hopes of seeing her live. Blackheart joins a mixed roster that showcases GCW’s ability to combine established stars with emerging talent.

As GCW returns to Phoenix, the choice of The Nile Theater as the Arizona venue continues the brand’s successful partnership with the Mesa entertainment district. The venue, located at 105 West Main Street in Mesa, has proven ideal for GCW’s intimate yet high-energy presentation style. The theater’s configuration allows for the close-quarters action that GCW is known for, with front-row seats positioning fans just a few feet from the wrestling ring. Tickets for “Keep In Touch” and the three other September events were announced by the GCW on July 31 and went on sale August 1st through Eventbrite. General admission starts at $38 and goes up to premium front-row ringside seats, available at $82.

“Keep In Touch” is part of a four-show weekend that includes stops in Detroit, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles. This September tour represents a significant expansion for the New Jersey-based promotion, with a lot for fans to look forward to even after the main summer events conclude.

The Phoenix show follows GCW’s “Evil Deeds” event in Detroit on September 12th and “Rumble On The River” in Indianapolis on September 13th, before concluding with “Homecoming Los Angeles” on September 20th. All events will be streamed live on TrillerTV+, ensuring global accessibility for fans unable to attend in person.
The announcement of these shows continues GCW’s undeniable growth since rebranding from Jersey Championship Wrestling in 2015. Under the ownership of Brett Lauderdale and Danny Demanto, the promotion has expanded from its New Jersey roots to become a nationally recognized brand. Today, the GCW runs events across the United States and internationally in countries including Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, and France.
