John Cena: The Only Platinum Rapper That’s Whooping Cody Rhodes Ass at SummerSlam Is Going To Be Me
John Cena is prepared for the rematch with the American Nightmare.
On the final Friday Night SmackDown before SummerSlam, John Cena opened up the show and before he could say anything, he was interrupted by his challenger for the WWE Undisputed Championship, the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.
This led to Cena opening up for the first time about five months ago when he turned his back on the WWE Universe by aligning with the Rock and Travis Scott. He regretted his decision and promised that he would be showing up to SummerSlam as the man who represented the words, hustle, loyalty, and respect.
Cena is scheduled to defend the WWE Undisputed Championship at SummerSlam on Sunday for night two against Rhodes, but this time, it’ll be held under street fight rules, which means there are no rules except pinning your opponent or forcing them to submit.
