Triple H On Expanding SummerSlam to Two Nights: I Think the Fans Plan Their Year and Vacations Around It

Triple H comments on the expansion of big-four events.

Wrestling fans used to get ready for one big night of extravagant action, now, the WWE Universe gets to prepare their weekend to be filled with action from the WWE whether it’s WrestleMania or SummerSlam, both shows that have been expanded to two-nights with bigger stakes on the line for each day.

When asked about the changes over the years, Triple H believes that this is the Disney of Pro Wrestling and that fans plan their year and vacations around events such as this.

Triple H says ‘the business is there’ to expand WWE SummerSlam to two nights:

This year’s SummerSlam show will be headlined by CM Punk challenging the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther on night one, while night two will consist of John Cena looking to escape with the WWE Undisputed Championship in a street fight against the ‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes.
