Cody Rhodes On AEW Exit: I Did Way More There Than They Thought and They Were Going to Realize That the Moment I Was Out the Door

Cody Rhodes speaks on his departure from AEW.

When Cody Rhodes decided to leave All Elite Wrestling in 2022, it led him to return back to the WWE where he has gone on to become the face of the franchise, or as he loves to call it, the Quarterback.

However, his departure from AEW came with questions, and recently, Rhodes spoke about his exit and how he felt disrespected by certain people in the company which led him to take a different road in his career by coming back to the place to finish his story.

Rhodes, who is a former WWE Undisputed Champion, will prepare for a street fight against John Cena, the current WWE Undisputed Champion at SummerSlam in what should be their final match against the other after their bitter rivalry started this past February following the shocking Cena heel turn.
