TNA “Taking Steps” To Get Top International Star Signed, More TNA Contract Updates
TNA has had a lot of buzz lately, coming off of their record-breaking, historic, Slammiversary PPV, their LIVE TNA iMPACT episode last Thursday, and their recent Behind The Scenes Slammiversary documentary. TNA has also been signing new Knockouts talent lately as well: names such as Mara Sade (formerly Jakara Jackson in NXT), Victoria Crawford, Jada Stone, Mila Moore, Myla Grace, Harley Hudson, & the IInspirstion.
To keep the buzz rolling, TNA has also been in on one of the top International stars – Lena Kross.
According to Fightful Select, “steps were being taken to get Lena Kross signed with TNA. She’s moved to the United States, and the process of her working dates for TNA has been in the works since March. We haven’t confirmed pen was put to paper as of yet.”
Kross is a big name on the Australian independent circuit, as well as spending time in the UK and Japan.
More contract updates this week by Fightful Select have included: Myron Reed: “TNA sources that we spoke with confirmed that as of right now, Myron Reed is working without a contract. They’re expecting him to work additional dates with the company, and said it isn’t out of the question.”
Myron Reed was brought into Philadelphia for their television tapings at the end of June leading up to Slammiversary, where it was revealed that Trey Miguel has a hernia and wasn’t able to compete – so Myron filled in, and also took Trey’s place at Slammiversary to team with Zachary Wentz to challenge for the TNA Tag Team Titles against The Hardy’s, the Nemeths, and FIR$T CLA$$.
Another update was Killer Kelly: “With Kelly back, many are wondering whether or not her contract is coming due soon. Fightful Select confirmed with TNA sources that Killer Kelly’s current deal was extended through December 2025.”
Killer Kelly took quite a bit of time off last year, leading to many rumors and speculation about what happened and whether she was still with the company or not. Now, we have some clarity.
One more update is a big man on the roster who’s been in a top program for the TNA International Title: Jake Something. “It was confirmed to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp that Jake Something’s TNA contract runs until at least Summer 2026.”
Jake hurt his tricep late last year and underwent surgery in February of this year. He returned back in June on the 6/19 episode of TNA iMPACT! when he stood up to Mance Warner and made a big statement.
