QT Marshall Promises Surprises, Legacy, and Reps as 1FW Takes Over Center Stage Tonight

Tonight, wrestling history meets wrestling’s future inside the walls of Center Stage.
QT Marshall’s One Fall Wrestling—an independent promotion born out of rep-based grind, veteran leadership, and the Georgia indie circuit—is set to run its biggest event ever: 1FW Summer Stage, live from the venue that defined WCW’s golden years.
“I just think it’s a testament to the hard work that the guys and girls put in every week,” QT said in an exclusive interview with The Irish Wrestling Podcast.
“To have this following… this brand that they can tout proudly. We’re going to blow it out the park.”

What’s Going Down Tonight
The card reads like an indie major:
- MJF, live and in-ring for a promo
- QT Marshall & The Gunns vs. The Frat House
- Tony Schiavone, back at Center Stage for the first time in over 30 years
- A long-running feud culminating in a coffin match
- The launch of the 1FW Breakout Title via Casino Gauntlet
- And—teased multiple times—“you never know who’s gonna show up.”
“I’m a huge believer in under-promising and over-delivering,” QT said.
“We can always use more ticket sales, but we’ve already had a great response. And the surprises are what make it special.”
Why Center Stage?
For QT, this venue wasn’t just available—it was personal.
“It’s a historic venue… not everyone’s going to get the chance to wrestle in buildings like this for major companies,” he said.
“So I spoke to my business partner, we put some money aside, figured it out—and we made it work.”
It’s also a nod to QT’s belief that independent wrestling deserves a spotlight that feels big-league, without selling out its soul.
“As much as it’s going to look major league… it’s still independent wrestling at the end of the day.”
Breakout Title, Real Stakes
Tonight also marks the birth of 1FW’s first singles championship: the Breakout Title, decided in a Casino Gauntlet Match designed to spotlight tomorrow’s stars.
“It’s for someone who hasn’t broken out yet,” QT explained.
“Hopefully it brings more light to their careers… it’s our stamp of approval.”
He made it clear—AEW talent won’t be touching it.
“If I use someone from AEW, they’re not going to win… and that’s not what this is for.”
The Feud That Ends in a Coffin
QT also teased one of the night’s most emotional stories: a coffin match between Sid and Kieran, two Nightmare Factory alumni who’ve been feuding across 1FW and Turnbuckle for over a year.
“These guys were both brought to me by Darby Allin,” QT said.
“They trained together… I thought they were roommates. I don’t know what happened. But now they’re finishing it—in a coffin match.”

The AEW World Champion won’t be wrestling, but he will be speaking—and for QT, that’s just as powerful.
“He’ll do an in-ring promo… he’ll probably plug Happy Gilmore, too,” he said with a grin.
“You never know what’s going to happen.”
Built on Reps, Not Hype
QT’s core philosophy behind 1FW? Reps. Reps. More reps.
“You need to perform in front of actual human beings that pay money,” he said.
“It’s the only way you get better at this job.”
That’s why 1FW has run three shows in eight days, and why Summer Stage isn’t just for ticket buyers—it’s for the next class of talent looking to earn their moment.
“I’ll wrestle seven times on the show if I have to,” QT said. “We’re going to give fans two hours of entertainment, whatever it takes.”
