Tony Khan: Surviving One Of The Deadliest Moves In Pro Wrestling Was Enough To Keep Me Out Of The Ring For Life
Tony Khan is lucky to be alive.
In 2024, Tony Khan was attacked by the Elite’s Young Bucks and Jack Perry as they delivered one of the deadliest moves in pro wrestling, the TK Driver. This would result in Khan wearing a neck brace for the next couple of weeks and still attending to his duties as the co-owner of All Elite Wrestling. However, it was more than enough of a sign for the boss to never step foot against the Elite ever again.
“I really don’t want to get into the ring and I like to think of myself as the commissioner is more of a device.” Khan explained. “One time I was attacked and I am very lucky to be sitting here with you right now Brian. One year ago, I survived the deadliest move in pro wrestling, the spike piledriver … I don’t want to necessarily get into the ring, my one time I got tricked and attacked in the ring is enough to keep me out for life.” – Khan said to Yahoo Finance.
Khan is currently building up to his excitement as AEW’s All In Texas features some of the biggest matches of the year and in the past decade. It’s a night nobody wants to miss if you’re a pro wrestling fan.
