Powerhouse Hobbs: A Match Between Paul Wight And I Has Got To Happen At Some Point In All Elite Wrestling

Powerhouse Hobbs wants the big man.

The history between Powerhouse Hobbs and Paul Wight has been seen through the carnage the two have put each other through since setting their sights on the other. However, Hobbs has never had a chance at a one-on-one match with Wight, and wants to change that as soon as possible.

“Oh yeah, it’s gotta happen [a match between him and Wight]. I know Paul pretty well, I know ain’t gonna go out like that. So, you know, I gotta always look front, back, side to side,” said Hobbs to MuscleManMalcolm in a recent interview.

Hobbs is set to team with Katsuyori Shibata and Samoa Joe to defend the AEW Trios Championships against The Death Riders Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and Gabe Kidd at AEW All In.
