TNA Knockouts World Title – Chain Match
-Masha Slamovich (c) vs Killer Kelly
A few weeks ago, Killer Kelly won an 8-4-1 match to earn a shot at the Knockouts World Title. The match is set to happen next week.
Tonight, Killer Kelly talked about how Masha kept moving up while Kelly was taking time off, and it was at the expense of them being a team. She comes herself and Masha to being a chain that broke, so next week she’s going to show Masha who the real monster is.
Masha Slamovich challenged Kelly to make it a Chain Match.
The rest of the matches:
-Jake Something vs Mance Warner (w/SDL)
Two weeks ago, Jake Something returned to TNA after being gone for awhile while he recovered from a triceps injury. Jake attacked Mance Warner, who was trying to go after Tommy Dreamer.
Backstage last week, Jake made it known that he’s interested in going after the TNA International Title, which Mance has fought for recently as well.
-Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford vs IInspiration (Jessica McKay & Cassie Lee)
After beating Brittnie Brooks & Missa Kate on the 6/12 TNA iMPACT episode, the Iinspiration are making their way through the TNA Knockouts tag teams in their quest for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
On the 6/19 episode, they watched on the monitor backstage as the current TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions beat the team of Masha Slamovich & Lei Ying Lee. After the match was over, they made it known yet again that they’re coming for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles- which they made…ICONIC.
They’ll battle Tessa and Victoria next.
-Trey Miguel (w/Zachary Wentz) vs Nic Nemeth (w/Ryan Nemeth)
Ahead of challenging them for the TNA Tag Team Titles at Slammiversary, Trey Miguel looks to take out or soften up Nic Nemeth as they battle in what will likely be a match of the night contender.
-We’ll hear from Frankie Kazarian
Frankie Kazarian has no clear direction as of right now headed into Slammiversary on July 20th, but that could change tonight as he hosts “The Kings Speech” tomorrow night.
-Tasha Steelz addresses both Mustafa Ali & Cedric Alexander
Tasha Steelz has been calling an old friend of Mustafa Ali – Cedric Alexander – as Ali has been going off the rails lately.
-Matt Cardona vs. Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha)
Last week during the TNA iMPACT broadcast, Matt Cardona went to confront Brian Myers backstage, but was instead interrupted himself but Eddie Edwards. Edwards said that Cardona is getting in the way of official System business and that he should get out of the company since he’s not part of it anyway. Eddie said he’s going to beat him all over the place next week and that he’s going to find Santino to make the match.
