Goldberg is ready for the Ring General.

On July 12th at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Goldberg will be involved in the final match of his career when he looks to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship off of Gunther, the man who started this feud with the former WCW and WWE World Champion in 2024 during WWE”s visit to Atlanta for Bad Blood.

On an episode of Carcast, Goldberg spoke about how he is on go-mode, and that he plans on going all out against the Ring General when Saturday Night’s Main Event arrives in Atlanta on July 12.

“I don’t give a fuck how I feel walking out of there, I’ll be perfectly honest with you. This is all or nothing. At 58 and with the injuries that I’ve had, there’s no question that I’ve compromised a little bit, but like I said the other night, I don’t give a flying fuck if I walk in there with a football helmet and two knee braces and my arm in a sling — it doesn’t mean anything other than the fact that I’m a little hobbled and I won’t be 100%. I’m bringing it, that’s the only way I know how to go. When the clock ticks and it’s time to get in the ring, it doesn’t matter if I’m ready or not, because I better be ready.”

The WWE is billing this match as the final bout of Goldberg’s career, and whether he wins the gold or doesn’t, the WWE Hall of Famer will hang up the boots in his hometown once the night is officially over.
