UFC BJJ 1 is here!
UFC BJJ 1 Results
UFC’s first ever official UFC BJJ event has arrived. UFC is no stranger to the BJJ game, as they’ve had the Fight Pass Invitational matches. Now, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gets their very own UFC brand and numbered events. UFC BJJ 1 is live tonight, June 25, for free on UFC’s YouTube page and UFC Fight Pass.
The event is the kick-off to UFC’s international fight week, which ends with UFC 317 this Saturday. But, it’s all about BJJ tonight as we crown the first ever UFC BJJ Bantamweight, Lightweight and Welterweight champions. In the main event, Mikey Musumeci battles Rerisson Gabriel for the inaugural UFC BJJ Bantamweight Championship. These two coaches from UFC BJJ road to the title will compete, but the finalists from the competition will battle, too.
In the co-main event, it’s an all-Team Gabriel match as Andrew Tackett battles Andy Varela for the inaugural Welterweight title. Plus, it’s an all-Team Musumeci match as Carlos Henrique takes on Danilo Moreira for the inaugural Lightweight championship and more! You can see the full results below.

- Main Event: 135 pounds (UFC BJJ Bantamweight Title Match) – Mikey Musumeci def. Rerisson Gabriel via Submission (Heel Hook, Round Three)
- 170 pounds (UFC BJJ Welterweight Title Match) – Andrew Tackett def. Andy Varela via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke, Round One)
- 155 pounds (UFC BJJ Lightweight Title Match) – Carlos Henrique def. Danilo Moreira via Submission (Arm-Bar, Round Three)
- 155 pounds – Keith Krikorian def. Joao Assonitis via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke, Round Two)
- 125 pounds – Cassia Moura def. Talita Alencar via Unanimous Decision
- 205 pounds – Pedro Machado def. Filipe Pimentel via Submission (Triangle Choke, Round Two)
- 145 pounds – Bella Mir def. Carol Joia via Submission (D’Arce Choke, Round Two)
- 155 pounds – Keven Carrasco def. Ty Costlow via Submission (Triangle Choke, Round One)
