One of the most important names in the pro wrestling business is making another business move post his in ring career, as it has been announced that Hulk Hogan is opening a new bar that will be located right next to the most famous arena in the world, Madison Square Garden.
According to Page Six, Hogan’s bar is 9,000 square feet and it cost $7 million.
“Now we’re told the ring legend is opening the sports bar, to be called Slam, which will have a wall of windows facing the famed arena.”
Out of the many WWF/WWE shows that have taken place at Madison Square Garden over the last 50 years, Hogan probably is the performer most synonymous with the building. Hogan made his WWF debut there in 1979 and headlined WrestleMania I there in 1985.
Hogan has been in the headlines a lot in 2025. He appeared on the Raw on Netflix debut back in January to promote his Great American Beer but he was booed out of the building and with the amount of social media backfire WWE got for putting him on television, they haven’t used him since. He also co-founded a new company called Real American Freestyle which will be a blend of pro wrestling and amateur freestyle wrestling.
