Anthony Bowens: The Pride Of Pro Wrestling Should Be A Champion Who Represents All Elite Wrestling
The five-tool player wants to get revenge and gold around his waist.
Since coming back with new music and a new look, Anthony Bowens, the former AEW Tag Team Champion has been looking to get locked in and dominate the singles competition in AEW, however, that’s led to a lot of uncomfortable situations where the five-tool player has been the victim of huge losses that have derailed the momentum heading into the biggest show of the year, All In.
During an interview with WFAA, Bowens spoke about his hopes of getting on the card for All In, and how the main target on his mind is the current TNT Champion, Adam Cole.
“It’s been no secret that I have been gunning for the TNT championship. I wanted an opportunity to beat the crap out of Adam Cole. I’ve got some revenge on my plate that I’m looking for cause he did some damage to me a couple years ago when I got thrown through a plate glass window. So I need to get my comeuppance with him. it would also be great to be a champion, a five-tool champion. I mean, I think The Pride of Professional Wrestling should be a champion representing the company. So I’m gunning for that. We’ll see what ends up happening at All In. I’m trying my best to get there. I keep coming up against these challenges every week and just falling short. But I’m fairly certain I’ll figure it out soon.”
Bowens recently told Billy Gunn that the two need to get back on the right page before the biggest show of the year, noting that the Pride of Pro Wrestling cannot miss All In by any means necessary.
