Trick Williams teamed with TNA FIR$T CLA$$ talent AJ Francis & NXT star Wes Lee – filling in for an “unable to compete” KC Navarro to take on TNA star Elijah, Pro Wrestling Noah star Yoshiki Inamura, and NXT star Josh Briggs. Trick Williams is the current TNA World Champion and will defend against NXT star Josh Briggs after Josh’s partner Yoshiki Inamura pinned Trick earlier in the night.
Backstage following the match, Inamura told Briggs that if he gets a TNA World title shot that he wants Briggs to have it – he says they need to think bigger. Briggs as TNA champion, and himself as NXT champion.
The match was made official for next week.
