Shotzi is coming for the throne.
Blackheart vs. Cardona
Shotzi Blackheart is officially a free agent since not being renewed by WWE in May. Since her go-ahead to wrestle again, she’s hit the ground running and already competed in a death match at GCW’s Tournament of Survival. Following that, she declared that she’s the Indie Goddess, and that of course got the attention of Matt Cardona, who calls himself the Indie God.
Cardona claimed gimmick infringement on Shotzi, but Shotzi is ready to fight for the rights to the name. While speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Shotzi spoke on the matter.
Look, it’s a game of thrones out here on the indies. If I want to sit on the indie iron throne, I got to take out the king, and that’s Matt Cardona. So, yeah, there can only be one king.
Ariel clarified that Shotzi is down to wrestle men, to which she said absolutely!
Absolutely, yeah, no problem. Yeah, I’m willing to fight Matt Cardona to the death for that title!
Ariel asked her if she’d do a death match with Cardona, and she said yes. Well, good news for Shotzi, GCW has booked her in a match against Cardona and the two will battle on July 11th in Dallas at GCW: Boss Of All Bosses.
