Bekoev vs. Finney
Azamat Bekoev is set to take on Torrez Finney at UFC Vegas 108 Fight Night in August which is live in the UFC Apex. This announcement caused a hilarious tweet from Azamat, where he may be regretting his previous comments.
Many fans aren’t too keen on the UFC running events from their Apex. The cage is smaller, the “arena” holds significantly less fans than a normal arena and a lot of the time, the crowd is quiet.
Recently, Azamat has used social media to call out Torrez Finney to a fight, he’s wanted it badly and now finally gets his wish. But, he got another sarcastic wish, too. In the beginning of May, a fan asked Azamat what his dream arena to fight in was, and he jokingly said “UFC Apex early prelims.” Well, UFC has announced the fight today and it’ll be in the Apex! Azamat took to twitter to say that he has to stop joking around, because UFC doesn’t have a sense of humor.
While the fight isn’t confirmed for the early prelims, Azamat has already got ahead of the UFC and is calling for the co-main event just in case!
