WWE is preparing to make Worlds Collide in Los Angeles a must watch show before Money in the Bank as they have plans to use two of the most popular superstars in the company as it seems WWE’s power couple of Liv Morgan and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio are planned to appear on the show.
According to Fightful Select, this appearance by them might not be for a match but WWE is putting a lot of effort into giving this show some juice.
“Sources close to the creative of the show have told Fightful Select that Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio were discussed to appear on the show. Early indications were that it was a segment as opposed to a match, but as always, creative plans can change as they get closer to the show.”
As of now, Morgan and Mysterio have no plans to wrestle at Money in the Bank. Morgan is in a triple threat qualifying match for Money in the Bank against Stephanie Vaquer and Ivy Nile on the June 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw but it is expected internally that newly called up Vaquer is getting the victory. Mysterio on the other hand isn’t in a major feud for his Intercontinental Championship.
Worlds Collide looks to be a huge show as it seems to a great mix of main roster WWE talent, NXT talent and Lucha Libre AAA talent. With the addition of Morgan and Mysterio, it certainly adds major star power even if it’s just in a promo segment.
The show takes place on Saturday June 7th at the Kia Forum at 3 p.m. est with the show being exclusively broadcast to WWE’s YouTube Channel.
