Maycee Barber Speaks Out Following UFC Vegas 107 Pull Out, Responds To Erin Blanchfield

Maycee Barber has spoken.

UFC Vegas 107 Main Event

24 hours ago, Maycee Barber was set to take on Erin Blanchfield in the UFC Vegas 107 main event. Right after airing the main event video package, it looked like it was time for the fight to begin. But, the announced that the fight was canceled just before walkouts.

The commentary announced that due to a medical issue, Maycee Barber is out of the fight and the event was now over. This was a shock and something we’ve never seen before from a UFC main event. Following the cancellation, Erin Blanchfield said that she heard Maycee had a seizure, called her unprofessional and said her life was a mess.

While we still don’t have confirmation on damage did have a seizure or not, Maycee has taken to instagram to speak out about the events that occurred and made sure to let Erin know that her life is not messy.

“Not what I had planned for a Sunday post, Thank you to everyone for the prayers & support I owe an apology to @ufc @mickmaynard2 @danawhite @seanshelby & @blanchfield_mma ** PS my life is not messy this is just a bad hand. We will get to the bottom of it all and be back 🤍” she wrote on instagram.

Surely, once Maycee is fully aware of what’s going on, we should learn more. This is not the first time she’s had some complicated medical issues. As for a rematch, Erin said she has no desire to re-book the fight.
