Maycee Barber Pulls Out Of UFC Main Event Seconds Before Fight, Erin Blanchfield Reacts
Terrible news for the UFC Vegas 107 main event.

UFC Vegas 107 has ended just minutes ago as of this writing. The event was supposed to be headlined by Maycee Barber vs. Erin Blanchfield in a potential Flyweight contenders fight. UFC ran a video package for the fight, and right when the fighters were set to walk out, they announced that they actually wouldn’t be. This is another disaster to follow a week of fight cancellations, weight misses and changes in the card.
UFC commentary revealed that a medical issue with Maycee Barber has caused the main event to be cancelled as she was not medically cleared to compete. They got an instant reaction with Erin Blanchfield where she revealed that Maycee Barber had a seizure, but the commentary team didn’t seem to have confirmation on that. As of now, there is no confirmation that she had a seizure, but we will keep you updated. Barber did also miss weight by half of a pound, and was going to forfeit 20% of her fight purse to Blanchfield.
Blanchfield was also asked if she would consider re-scheduling the fight with Barber, but she flat out said no. She’s looking to fight someone else in the top 5 soon.
We’ve never seen a main event fight cancelled like this. But, we did get nine other fights that did happen. You can see those results here. We wish the best for Maycee Barber.
