Amin’s Thoughts — Rey Fenix is simply incredible as it’s just so fun to see him in action. I would like to see Fenix have a big match on the Worlds Collide show with Penta. Good to see Mateo wrestling in his ring gear. You can see Mateo is holding back from his great stuff we’ve seen in NJPW. Good to see Mateo get another nice win on SmackDown. R-Truth said if Cena win, they riot.
Amin’s Thoughts — Nice for R-Truth to get a match with John Cena during his WWE retirement tour. This mostly feels like just WWE’s way to get Cena to have a quick match on the Saturday Night’s Main Event TV special. I’m wondering if this match with R-Truth is there to set the stage for a bigger angle between Cena and maybe Cody Rhodes returning to set something for the Money in the Bank PLE.

Amin’s Thoughts — A pretty enjoyable action packed three way match. The brief interactions between Black and Nakamura was fun to watch. That got me interested in wanting to see a Black and Nakamura program. Knight winning the match was the correct choice. Knight reminds me lots of Jey Uso. Knight has the crowd behind him and can work strong matches. I would not mind if Knight wins Money in the Bank and leads to him reaching main event tier star in WWE.
—Carmelo Hayes and The Miz were backstage. Melo said it was great not seeing Black win. Miz wondered how many times he needs to take Black Mass for Melo to listen to him. Solo told Mateo he hasn’t said it like that in six months. Mateo asked Solo if he was okay with that. Solo told Mateo he’s gonna be alright.
Amin’s Thoughts — I’m gonna say Solo Sikoa has got something going bringing out the comedic side in him. A babyface run with Solo is something that could work down the road. The way Mateo plays off Solo in these backstage skits is great stuff.
—Bianca Belair highlight promo aired. Belair spoke about reading a quote saying “The only consistent thing in life is change.” Belair said that really stuck with her. She then wondered the kind of example would she be for herself if that defined her. She said she would get through it. She said she’s healing. She said she’s gonna heal stronger and wiser. She mentioned here’s to a new beginning. Belair then rephrased the quote “The only consistent thing in life is change and me.”
Amin’s Thoughts — Really strong video package and promo from Belair. You can look closer and see change is coming when Belair rephrased the quote in the end. Belair heel turn could very well be in the works.
—They showed a graphic for Bianca Belair returning to SmackDown next week in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett hyped the SmackDown show for next week. John Cena appears on SmackDown next week. Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match between Jade Cargill, Naomi and Nia Jax. Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match between Carmelo Hayes, Andrade and Jacob Fatu.
Amin’s Thoughts — A pretty strong line up for SmackDown next week. Will be cool to see Cena back on SmackDown after being away for the SNME build. The more interesting to me was Bianca Belair returning to SmackDown next week in her hometown. The same week of the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. Was the highlight package and the announcement of Belair’s return next week to set the stage for a heel turn in her hometown? I’m guessing that’s what it’s leading too.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer made their entrance to a solid reaction. Fraxiom got a new theme song. WWE Tag Team Champions Angelo Dawkins & Money Ford made their entrance to a strong reaction. The new Street Profit theme is quite lame gotta say but fits their new onscreen subtle babyface/heel onscreen characters.

Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford vs. Axiom & Nathan Frazer ended in 21:17 via No-Contest
Amin’s Thoughts — A really fun action packed tag team match. I really liked the match layout with Dawkins and Ford playing subtle heels taking control over to their pace. This was nicely done to get the crowd between Axiom and Frazer who are still a new tag team that recently joined the SmackDown roster. A really good showing from both teams. I usually don’t like seeing DQ finishes in championship matches. This was fine here as it kept both the Street Profits and Fraxiom strong. Good to see the Street Profits still holding the titles. The DQ finish also led to something bigger with the big post-match angle from the returning Wyatt Sicks. Good stuff here all around.
➤Erick Rowan took out Gargano and Ciampa with a double running crossbody on the floor. Nikki Cross took out Candice LeRae with a flying crossbody. Joe Gacy hit a handspring rebound lariat on Dawkins. The crowd was chanting “Holy S*it” which was censored. Gacy grabbed Lumis and PowerBombed him onto Dawkins. Uncle Howdy placed Frazer in the Mandible Claw. The crowd went wild as Uncle Howdy gave Gargano the Sister Abigail. The lights went out as The Wyatt Sicks posed together. The crowd in the arena did the fireflies. Nikki placed a birthday cake in the ring. Friday on SmackDown was the date of Bray Wyatt’s birthday. Uncle Howdy looked up into the sky saying “My Life for You!” Uncle Howdy blew out the candle on the cake to close the show.
Amin’s Thoughts — A fantastic return for The Wyatt Sicks as they looked awesome together as a group. The crowd reacted to The Wyatt Sicks like they were huge stars. The first time Wyatt Sicks debut was awesome and made you feel something special was in the works. This return once again felt like there’s something special to come. The Wyatt Sicks returning back to WWE TV on Bray Wyatt’s birthday was perfect. Bo Dallas blowing out the candle was a wonderful touch to celebrate Bray’s birthday. This was nicely done. Looking forward to seeing where this leads for Wyatt Sicks.

WWE SmackDown (ENJOYABLE)
FINAL SCORE (8 OUT OF 10)
The Wyatt Sicks returning to WWE TV on Bray Wyatt’s birthday was a great touch. Giulia looked great in her SmackDown debut qualifying for the Women’s Money in the Bank. LA Knight was the right winner to qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank. Good matches up and down the show. The weak point was the final build for the Cena and R-Truth match. You can see this match with R-Truth was just a way to get Cena on the SNME card. There was still lots of good to like on the show. You can see WWE is moving things forward for the bigger shows coming up. Three hours still feels long for a weekly episode of SmackDown.Overall, an enjoyable episode of SmackDown.
