Ace Austin went after Mustafa Ali with a steel pipe backstage but was thwarted by the Great Hands. Ace took them out, but lost the pipe In the process. Ali picked it up and nailed Ace in the knee with it – this would end up playing a factor in Ace losing the match for a shot at the International Title following the assault.
Ace looks to get his revenge on Ali during this match.
