A debut short notice bout is set!

UFC 316 is set for June 7 in Newark, New Jersey. The show is a little less than a month away and earlier this week, news broke that Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera was pulled from his scheduled bout against Mario Bautista due to injury.
Shortly after, PFL revealed that Patchy Mix, the now former 135lb champion for their promotion, was let go from his contract and was a free agent effective immediately. MagicM_MMABets has now reported that Patchy Mix will step in and make his UFC debut against Mario Bautista at UFC 316.
Patchy Mix went to PFL when PFL purchased Bellator. The former Bellator champion is 20-1 and only fought one time in the PFL when he defeated Magomed Magomedov at the Bellator Championship Series in May of last year. We’ve seen many bells for fighters complain about the lack of PFL fights and wanting to hop over to the UFC, now, Patrick ‘Patchy’ Mix is the latest to make the jump.
Patchy is currently on a 7 fight win streak. Coincidentally, Mario Bautista (15-2), is also on a 7 fight win streak. The debut bout has fans in a craze. UFC 316 can’t come soon enough!
