Dricus Du Plessis To Defend UFC Middleweight Title Against Khamzat Chimaev At UFC 319
UFC 319 has a headliner.

UFC 319 is live August 16th at the United Center in Chicago, IL. Today, Dana White went on instagram live and revealed the main event of that card will be a middleweight title bout, with a matchup that has been highly anticipated by the fans.
The 14-0 undefeated Khamzat Chimaev finally gets a shot at the middleweight title after disposing of Robert Whittaker last year. After several long lay-off’s for the title contender due to visa issues and illness, Chimaev will finally do battle with Middleweight Champion, Dricus Du Plessis.
Dricus is also undefeated in the UFC at 9-0 and coming off two wins over Sean Strickland and a win over Israel Adesanya. Now, he may have his toughest test ahead of him.
No other bouts were announced for that card at this time.
