One of the most likable wrestlers in the world Willow Nightingale is currently in a contract year with All Elite Wrestling.
According to Fightful Select, Nightingale’s deal ends in a few months but the exact date on when the deal is up is unknown.
“Those that we’ve spoken to within AEW claim that Willow is a priority for the company and someone they want to keep around. It’s probably no surprise that Willow Nightingale is well liked within the company. All Elite Wrestling expects to retain Willow from what we understand. Everyone that Fightful spoke with believes it’s a “guarantee” that Willow is offered an extension to remain with AEW. “
Nightingale has been with AEW since May of 2021. Since being in the company, Nightingale has won the Owen Hart Cup as well as the TBS Championship. In that time period, Nightingale also represented AEW in the first ever New Japan Strong Women’s Championship Tournament. She won the whole tournament which included beating Mercedes Mone in the final in a match that Mone suffered a serious leg injury.
Nightingale has been one of the best babyfaces in all of wrestling since her AEW debut. Clearly AEW will put in a huge effort to bring her back as the AEW division continues to be growing and being booked much better as of late.
