Former AEW TNT champion and WWE Hall of Famer Cope is planned to be in a major match at AEW’s biggest show of the year, All In.
According to Fightful Select, while there is no timetable for a return to television, Cope is still planed to be a part of All In Texas in a significant way.
I can’t say specifically when, because I don’t know, but he is planned for AEW All In for a significant match, so in plenty of time to help build for that.
Cope and FTR lost at Dynasty for the Trios titles against the Deathriders. FTR then attacked Cope after the match which included two ConChairTos. FTR has joined forces with Stokely Hathaway since the turn and Cope has not been on TV since.
Many fans expect FTR to face Cope and his long time tag team partner Christian Cage at All In. Cope has wrestled Cage on multiple occasions since being in AEW but have not teamed together. Christian has been in the heel faction The Patriarchy while Cope has been his biggest enemy on screen. If FTR vs Cope and Christian happens, it will absolutely be a marquee match at All In.
