Former Cora Jade Speaks Out On Body Shaming From WWE Bosses, CoWorkers And Fans
Not a good look.
Cora Jade And GiGi Dolin Speak
Cora Jade and GiGi Dolin were two of the dozen talent released this week from the WWE. Now, both ladies are speaking out following an interesting note from Dave Meltzer.
Dave spoke about the releases and said that many of the NXT talent released were perceived as “not working hard”, which prompted GiGi to reply saying she didn’t want to hear that, because she worked for two companies (NXT & TNA), and when she wasn’t traveling and wrestling, she trained 3-4 times a week.
This prompted Cora Jade to reply, agreeing with GiGi and saying she also worked at her own gym outside of work following strength and conditioning class that “didn’t do anything” for her, other than her body shamed by her bosses, co-workers and fans.
Cora revealing that her WWE bosses body shamed her isn’t a shock, because it has happened in the past with other talent. But, it is saddening to know that WWE still has that terrible culture surrounding their company and WWE performance center. Do better.
We wish GiGi and Cora the best in what’s to come.
