Shotzi has not been released.
Shotzi Update
Shotzi has posted an ominous promo earlier this week, which was then followed by WWE releasing over a dozen talent. This made people question if she was a part of the releases. Then, people noticed that she was moved to the alumni section of the WWE roster page.
Well, despite all of that, she has not been released from the company. But, she will not be with WWE for long. Fightful Select have reported that Shotzi’s contract is up soon, and WWE has decided to not renew it, therefore she will be parting ways with WWE. It’s unclear when exactly that contract is up.
Update on Shotzi’s situation.
Shotzi released an ominous promo this week causing speculation on her future. To further that speculation, her profile was moved to the Alumni section of the WWE website.
When we asked internally, we were told Shotzi “hasn’t been released,” but that her contract is up “soon” and she was informed WWE will not be extending it. When Fightful inquired about Shotzi earlier this week, we were simply told “no talent has been released at this point,” then there were releases the next day.
We do not have an update on when the deal is up.
