WWE Releases
WWE is not done yet. WWE have been releasing talent tonight and two more are confirmed. PWInsider first reported that both GiGi Dolin and Eddy Thorpe have been released from WWE/NXT.
Eddy Thorpe signed with WWE in 2023 and spent his entire run in WWE NXT. Though he never held gold, he did have some top feuds with the likes of Trick Williams, which happened more recently. The two had an NXT Underground match on March 18th to end their feud.
GiGi Dolin is another NXT star who spent her WWE tenure on the brand. She made her debut in 2021 and found success in the tag team division. First with Toxic Attraction and most recently with Tatum Paxley. The more recent duo were on the RAW After Mania and have been heavily featured in the WWE & TNA partnership. This release comes to a shock to many, as she’s actively used on tv weekly. Dolin is a former 2 time WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
