Liv Morgan Already in Japan Filming New Movie

Just a day after being announced to be starring in a new Neon film, WWE Women’s Tag Team champion Liv Morgan seems to be in Japan filming the movie already.

Morgan was announced to be starring in a movie called Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. The film is produced by Neon who have produced movies like Parasite and Longlegs. In the announcement report from Deadline, it was said that production starts in May.

But according to PWInsider, they have reports saying that Morgan is already in Japan and has begun filming the movie.

“The belief is she will be back within a month or so, if not sooner. There are no plans for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to be stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Teaam belts.”

Morgan even referenced that she will need sometime off in a promo in the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

Morgan just won back the tag team titles with Raquel Rodriguez for the fourth time on the Raw after Wrestlemania. They then defended the titles the next night on the April 22nd edition of NXT.

Morgan is represented by the Paradigm Talent Agency and they are working closely with all involved to ensure Morgan’s doesn’t miss many of her WWE dates. So as of now, Morgan has not been stripped of the Tag Titles so either she has filmed many backstage taped promos or, she will come back and forth from Japan to appear on WWE television.
