Moments ago, SportsCenter revealed Leon Slater’s dive off the lighting post from TNA Rebellion as one of the highlights of the week. It was shared via their social media Instagram.
Leon was one of six competitors in the Ultimate X match at TNA Rebellion on Sunday, along with El Hijo Del Vikingo, Sidney Akeem, Moose, Matt Cardona, and KC Navarro – all vying to capture the TNA X Division Title that was hanging from the middle of the structure.
While all of the participants in the match were on the outside, Leon Slater would climb the lighting post structure in the corner of the ring and jump off, attempting to take out the competition below with a 450 Splash as he splattered to the floor.
Luckily he was unharmed, and got up to finish the match – which he almost won. In the end, Moose would end up being the victor as he SPEARED Slater while he was coming down with the title belt, but before his feet could touch the canvas.
