TNA World Champion & WWE Royal Rumble + WrestleMania 41 Participant Joe Hendry Touts “WWE Megastar” Wanting To Show Up At TNA Rebellion PPV
Last night, Randy Orton made his way out at WrestleMania 41 for an open challenge. Nobody knew who would show up. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry came out to answer the call.
Orton’s original opponent was Kevin Owens, until the news broke that Owens suffered a broken neck and would be out indefinitely. Randy still wanted to wrestle at his 20th WrestleMania.
Hendry was introduced as the TNA World Champion, and in a feel good moment had the crowd signing along with his theme. “Say his name and he appears”.
Randy made quick work of Hendry in a match that would last less than five minutes.
This morning, Hendry appeared on Busted Open Radio, teasing a “megastar” from WWE wanting to show up at TNA Rebellion.
“We don’t need to reveal who it is, but I know you [Tommy Dreamer] know who I’m going to be speaking about here because this person told me that you guys had a conversation. You wonder who might show up at Rebellion. One of the WWE megastars, who has a tour bus, told me they wanted to show up to Rebellion with their tour bus,” said Hendry.

Joe Hendry is set to defend his TNA World Title against Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Frankie Kazarian NXT star Ethan Page to main event the show. Will Hendry accumulate another successful defense? We’ll have to tune in or be there LIVE to find out.
