Gunther vs. Jey Uso for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship kicked off WrestleMania 41 night one. The crowd was fully behind Jey, but Gunther was determined to shut them all down.
The match started slow, but things picked up after Gunther got away with hitting Jey over the head with the World title. But, Jey had the urgency to stay in it and battle back.
In the end, it was Jey with 3 consecutive Uso-Splash’s and then locked in Gunther’s own rear-naked choke submission and made Gunther tap out!! We have a New WWE World Champion!
