WrestleMania 41.
WrestleMania 41 kicks off tonight. But, last night at the WWE Hall Of Fame, we saw Becky Lynch make an appearance to support the legends. This was the first time we’ve seen Becky on WWE programming all year.
Now, PWInsider has an update on the former multi-time women’s champion, as she could be making a return as soon as this weekend. WWE had Becky under contract, but they were just waiting on creative.
http://PWInsiderElite.com has been told by multiple sources that Becky Lynch will be involved physically this weekend at Wrestlemania 41 and coming out of the weekend, she will be back on WWE programming “coming out of a big Mania moment.”
Lynch has been signed under a new deal for some time and was part of the WWE media push for Raw on Netflix at the Netflix HQ a few months ago.
In asking why it’s taken so long for her to return, we are told Lynch and WWE were “waiting for the right creative.”
It’s unclear which brand Becky could be on upon her return, but RAW is most likely, as Seth Rollins, her husband, is on the RAW brand. Maybe Becky will get involved in Sunday’s women’s world title match?!
