UFC 314 was live in Miami, Florida, headlined by Alexander Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes for the Vacant Featherweight Title. Many fans were nervous coming into the event, as Alexander Volkanovski is coming off of two back-to-back knockout losses.
Plus, there’s never been a man to win gold over the age of 35 under the lightweight division. With Volkanovski being over 35, could Alexander break the curse? Yes, yes he can. Alexander Volkanovski came out like a man on fire and showed some ‘Prime Volk’ in every round. After a 5 round war, Alexander Volkanovski won via Unanimous Decision and is the new, and again, UFC Featherweight Champion!
