Before the show started, TNA took to their social media Twitter with a video message from former NXT champion, Ethan Page, who says he’s got a lot to say tonight.
Ethan Page makes his way out. Page immediately talks about how he’s back in TNA – the company where he cut his teeth and became “All Ego”. Page talks about the future where he challenges Joe Hendry for the TNA World Title, along with Frankie Kazarian. He says he’ll finally become the World Champion. Ethan says he knows Joe and has his number – like already beating him in NXT. Page says he’s going to beat Joe and bring the TNA World Title to NXT.
Frankie interrupts Page.
Frankie says Page can’t just come back to HIS company – and take HIS spot – but he’s just an idiot. Frankie says he never liked Page and can’t stand him. Frankie reminds Page that he’s the King of TNA, and won the Call Your Shot gauntlet last October – but all Ethan did was go into Santino’s office and kiss his ass. Ethan said Frankie is just mad that he’s going to win the title. Frankie says he’s going to walk into Rebellion as the top challenger, and walk out with the title.
Santino Marella makes his way out and says that Joe Hendry will be out tonight and has an announcement about Unbreakable that has implications for both men and their Rebellion match.
Backstage, Gia Miller stands by with Steve Maclin. She mentions the match both tonight and Unbreakable.
Maclin says he’s going to hit Eddie with a KIA, and he’s expecting the System to be involved, but he’ll handle it accordingly. Eric Young walks up and says that they’ll have Steve’s back no matter what. Maclin says he doesn’t want them to.
-Mustafa Ali (w/The Great Hands & Tasha Steelz) vs Ace Austin
Mustafa Ali nails Ace Austin with a steel chair to get disqualified.
Winner: Ace Austin
Post-match, the Great Hands hold Ace down while Tasha hands Ali another chair. Just as Ali is about to nail Ace with it, Santana comes out of the crowd and onto the ring apron. Ali attwmpts to hit Santana with the chair, but he punches it away. Ali flees the ring with the rest of his group.
Ali and The Great Hands are trying to flee the arena. They have a car waiting outside the venue, which they all get into. Mike Santana reveals himself as the driver, and pulls away before John Skyler can get out of the vehicle – everybody else bails out.
–Moose (w/Brian Myers & JDC) vs Cody Deaner
Deaner comes out and is met with JDC, who says he didn’t even know that Deaner still worked there. He asks when Cody even won a match. JDC offers Cody a spot in The System as a lackey to carry their bags around. He says he knows Cody’s contract is coming up soon, and he doesn’t have many options.
Cody says he’s got 4 kids and needs to think about them. Cody asks the crowd if he should be the System’s lackey. The crowd boos. JDC tells him to think about his kids. Cody says he might have another choice – to beat Moose got his X Division Title.
Moose says he can have a shot at the title if he can last 2 minutes with him. Cody tells the production truck to put 2 minutes on the screen. The bell rings.
Cody makes it the two minutes, and then it becomes a title match.
TNA X Division Title
-Moose (c) vs Cody Deaner
Moose nails Deaner with a SPEAR for the victory.
Winner, and still X Division Champion…MOOSE!!
Post-match, JDC and Myers grab Cody for a continued beat down. Moose gets a few shots in as The Rascalz run down to the ring with baseball bats and clear it out, saving Deaner from a further beating.
-The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs The System (Brian Myers & JDC)
Brian Myers and JDC come away with the victory after Trey Miguel tried to Suplex Brian Myers back into the ring from the apron, but JDC grabbed his legs and Myers fell on top of him, securing the pinfall.
Winners: Brian Myers & JDC
TNA International Title Qualifying Match
-Mance Warner vs. Sami Callihan vs. AJ Francis
While Sami Callihan and Mance Warner are busy beating each other up, AJ Francis hits Sami with a TFL spear to win the match.
Winner: AJ Francis advances in the International Title tournament
Backstage following the loss of his match against Mance Warner and AJ Francis, Sami Callihan is backstage with Santino Marella. Both men agree that the feud between Mance and Sami needs to end. Sami asks what it will take to put an end to it.
Sami says one more match – Abyss and Sabu made famous – a Barbed Wire Massacre match.
Santino agrees.
-Leon Slater vs. Ryan Nemeth
Ryan Nemeth grabs a chair from under the ring and attempts to use it. Jeff Hardy comes down and grabs the chair before Ryan can nail Slatwr with it. Slater hits Nemeth with a Twist of Slate, and then follows it up immediately with a Swanton 450 Splash. Slater pins Ryan.
Winner: Leon Slater
We go to a scene where Mike Santana is in a warehouse digging a hole. He has John Skyler tied up and his mouth covered with duct tape. Santana rips the duct tape off Skylers mouth and tells him that he’s going to take them out one by one until Ali can’t run anymore. He tells Skyler that Ali is going to discard all of them once he’s done and has no use for them anyway, so he’s going to help speed up the process and take them all out himself.
-Steve Maclin vs Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha)
The System come out to support Eddie. JDC tried to slide into the ring but the referee prevents him from doing that. The Northern Armory come out, but Eric Young prevented Judas and Travis from helping Maclin. Eddie nails Maclin with a BOSTON KNEE PARTY for the victory.
Winner: Eddie Edwards
Post-match, Eric Young walks up and slides a white mask into the ring for Maclin, giving him one more chance to join the group.
Joe Hendry comes out to address the iMPACT Zone.
Joe says that sometimes if you have take the good with the bad, and after his shoulder injury last week he was advised by the medical staff that he shouldn’t compete at Rebellion – but he’s going to anyway because of his dedication to the people and the title.
Frankie Kazarian comes out and says that Joe’s problem is he cares what people think, and that’s why he’s going to beat him at Rebellion.
Joe asked Frankie if he wants to get a piece of a hurt Joe Hendry. Frankie says he does, but he’s not coming down there right now.
Joe Hendry says that’s fine because next week at Unbreakable Joe will be teaming up with TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich to take on Frankie Kazarian and Tessa Blanchard.
