Caio Borralho Calls Nassourdine Imavov A “Fucking Pussy”, Says Dagestan Is Ashamed Of Him
Caio is not happy.
Borralho vs. Imavov?
The UFC Middleweight Division is heating up and it seems like two top contenders who were blind to clash, won’t. Caio Borralho is 17-1 and undefeated in the UFC while being currently ranked #6. Caio also hasn’t fought since August of 2024 and is waiting for a fight.
Meanwhile, Caio has been calling out the #1 ranked Middleweight, Nassourdine Imavov who’s 16-4 and coming off a win over Israel Adesanya in February. While the champion Dricus Du Plessis doesn’t currently have a scheduled fight, all the contenders are vying for an opportunity.
According to Caio during an interview with Full Send MMA, he was offered a fight against Imavov, but Imavov turned it down. Now, Caio went off on his denied opponent and called him explicit names and much more.
I just heard the news that they offered us to fight, I said yes right away and he came and said no. Then, the UFC came to him and said like “if you say no, you’re not the next in line, Caio’s going to be ahead of you.” Then he said “okay, I agree with that.” I heard this guy, he’s kind of a Dagestani, I think the Dagestani people are ashamed of him. I heard that the Dagestani guys like to fight, they fight in the street, they live a rough life. But this guy is a fucking pussy. That’s not Dagestan. Dagestani is ashamed of you. Have shame on you. That’s what they have.
While it’s possible that Nassourdine Imavov wants to just hold his #1 ranking spot until he gets a title shot, it is interesting to learn that the UFC would move past Imavov and give the opportunity to Caio Borralho, if what Caio says is factual. Only time will tell, but that would be a great fight!
