Orange Cassidy Currently On The Shelf With An Injury
Cassidy is out.
Orange Cassidy Update
We haven’t seen Orange Cassidy perform since he took on Mark Davis, Ricochet and Mike Bailey in a four-way bout on March 19. Well, that’s because the former international champion is injured.
Fightful Select first reported that Orange Cassidy is on the shelf due to a torn pectoral muscle. It’s unclear if the injury happened during that match specifically, but Orange will be out of action for the time being.
Fightful Select learned this week that former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy has been sidelined with an injury. The early indication from those within the company were that Cassidy possibly tore his pectoral muscle. We haven’t learned how the injury happened, but his last match was against Ricochet and Speedball Mike Bailey two weeks ago. We’ve not learned of a timetable for his return, or any plans for surgery as of yet. We wish Orange Cassidy the best in his recovery.
We as well wish Orange Cassidy the best and hope he can make a full recovery as soon as possible. Jay White is another superstar out on the shelf with a hand injury, as reported yesterday.
