AEW’s injury bug.
Mark Davis Update
AEW has caught the injury bug. It was revealed yesterday that ‘Switchblade’ Jay White is out of action and will require surgery for what we now know as a hand injury. Then, it was revealed today that Orange Cassidy is out with a pectoral injury.
Now, fightful select has reported a third injury to the AEW roster and that’s Mark Davis. The big man from the Don Callis Family is on the shelf following his match with Powerhouse Hobbs last week. There’s no update at this time on what exactly the injury is.
Fightful Select reported this week that Orange Cassidy and Switchblade Jay White both sustained legitimate injuries. Unfortunately, it hasn’t ended there.
Fightful Select has learned that Mark Davis sustained an injury during his match with Hobbs last week, which was brought to an end earlier than it was supposed to.
We’ve not heard any particulars, details or a timeline on the injury. Sources in AEW we spoke to felt horrible for Davis, noting how hard he worked to return from injury.
We wish Mark Davis the best and hope for a speedy recovery.
