UFC 314 has lost a fight.

UFC 314 is live from Miami, Florida on April 6. The card is stacked from top to bottom with a huge 5 fight main card all headlined by a Featherweight title bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes. Well, at UFC’s Mexico Fight Night today, Jon Anik announced on commentary that the highly anticipated Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates is off of that card entirely. They sited an injury to Geoff Neal as the reason why.
Prates is 5-0 in the UFC with an overall 21-6 record. The highly touted prospect was stepping into his toughest battle to date when he took on the hard hitting UFC veteran, Geoff Neal. Sadly, that’s no more. It was noted that we could see Carlos in a big spot soon, so he could potentially be a replacement in another fight coming up.
UFC 314 is still stacked with the following fights.

No word on what fight will be bumped up to the main card.
