Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

Matches are now eligible.

2025 Hall Of Fame

From the start of the WWE Hall Of Fame being a thing, we’ve only seen people be inducted into the Hall Of Fame. But, that now changes. WWE has announced the “Immortal Moments” wing of the Hall Of Fame, which will see big moments and matches inducted and we have our first one.

On today’s SmackDown, which is being taped in London, England, they announced that Stone Cold vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 will be the first ever match inducted into the Hall Of Fame this year. The classic WrestleMania match went down on March 23, 1997. Hart and Austin battled in a No-DQ submission match where Ken Shamrock was special guest referee. Bret Hart got the victory.

UFC has been inducting fights into their “Fight Wing” of the UFC Hall Of Fame and now WWE follows suit. Congratulations to Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart! WWE did reveal that they will both be in attendance for the Hall Of Fame in April.
