Rey Fenix Arrives.
Lucha Bros In WWE
Penta has been in WWE since the beginning of the year and now, his brother joins him. Fenix was under contract with AEW longer than Penta was, so he had to wait it out in order to come to WWE.
Fenix last wrestled for AEW in September of 2024, and then last wrestled in CMLL a few days later, which was his latest match to date. Now, the wait to see Fenix back in the ring is finally over. SmackDown is currently being taped in London, England and during the taping, they aired another teaser vignette for Rey Fenix, but this time, they showed his face, his name, which he will be keeping the Rey Fenix moniker, and revealed that he will debut next Friday on SmackDown!
They did mention on commentary that Fenix is the brother of Penta, but interestingly enough, they’re not on the same brand. Eventually, the Lucha Bros will probably come back together in WWE.
