Oba Femi is not happy!
Heritage Cup Match
Tonight on WWE NXT, Je’Von Evans took on Lexis King for his Heritage Cup Championship. Sadly for Evans, he’s had a target on his back since laying out WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi last week.
It was clear Oba wasn’t happy when he was shown backstage, and he was on his way to do something about it. During the match, Je’Von Evans was on a roll, bringing the fight to Lexis King and had a good shot at winning the cup.
Then, while the referee was checking on King, Oba Femi made his way out and power bombed Je’Von Evans on the apron, laying him out on the floor and causing him to get counted out. Following the match, Oba wasn’t done and started to attack Je’Von again. Darkstate, NXT’s new mysterious faction, made their presence known and looked like they were going to attack from the crowd.
Suddenly, Trick Williams ran down and looked to be going for his ‘Trick Shot’ on Oba, but accidentally hit Je’Von. Trick and Oba started to brawl but were pulled apart. Again, with Trick Williams in the ring, Darkstate didn’t attack.
