The scramble cage is back!
GCW Scramble Cage Match
One of the most dangerous match types is back after over twenty years! In 2004, Ring Of Honor ran their first Scramble Cage Melee match. The only way to eliminate an opponent is to dive onto them from one of the platforms on top of the cage. The match saw a number of injuries sustained and there’s never been another Scramble Cage Melee match again. Until now!
Joey Janela and GCW have announced that at ClusterFuck Forever on April 19, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Scramble Cage Match will return! 8 men will battle for a prize of $10,000 worth of palms poker chips. The eight competitors in the match have yet to be named.
In the original 2004 ROH match, Jack Evans was ultimately the winner. Jack is still an active competitor. Maybe there’s a chance that he competes in the scramble cage one more time!
