WWE Hall Of Fame
The WWE Hall Of Fame 2025 class is headlined by Triple H. But, another legend heading to this years Hall Of Fame class is Lex Luger. Lex is a legend in both WWE and WCW and will finally take his rightful place in the Hall Of Fame. But, who will induct him?
Well, the likely name that pops up is Sting. Lex and Sting are not only friends outside of the ring, but we’re former partners and rivals across their careers. But, with Sting having a deal with AEW, is it possible? Fightful Select has reported that WWE plans to make overtures to Sting about inducting Lex if they haven’t already.
Lex Luger is headed into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, and the natural selection to induct him is his longtime tag team partner, rival and friend, Sting. Despite having retired over a year ago, Sting has remained a part of All Elite Wrestling, and has a new Legends-esque deal since retiring.
We’re not sure if that would require AEW signing off on Sting possibly inducting Luger, but we’re told that WWE was planning to make overtures if they hadn’t already about making that happen. Luger and those close to him did inform WWE that Sting was the preferred choice.
It’s worth noting Sting had told people he probably wouldn’t be able to do it because of his AEW deal.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve heard Sting’s original plans called for him to only be in Vegas during WrestleMania week for a limited schedule, and it’s now expanded.
Sting is always a welcomed addition to wrestling fans television screens. We’ll see if he shows up in April.
