WWE NXT ends in carnage!
WWE NXT Underground Match
In the main event of this weeks edition of WWE NXT, Trick Williams went one-on-one against Eddy Thorpe in the famed Underground Match. In this match, other talent surround the ring, the ropes are taken off and the only way to win is by knockout or submission.
Surprisingly, the match was on the shorter side, but both men got in some big moments. Thorpe put Trick through the announcers table in the early going, but Trick Williams battled back and ended up winning via technical knockout after the referee jumped in on some ground and pound by Williams. But, it was what happened post-match that has everyone talking.
Trick Williams called out NXT Champion Oba Femi after the match and without many words said, Femi and Williams started to brawl. The stars surrounding the ring tried to break it up and failed. During the brawl, Je’Von Evans was shoved down, which resulted in him retaliating by laying out Oba Femi with a cutter. Then, the new mystery group that we now know as DarkState made their presence known and watched from the crowd while Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams stared each other down while standing over Oba Femi’s body. Chaos.
