Ricky Saints vs. Ridge Holland
Ricky Saints, formerly known as Ricky Starks, made his debut in WWE NXT back in February. Since then, he’s only wrestled in tag team action, but that changed tonight. Ridge Holland has taken issue with Ricky, as he feels he’s taking the spotlight that he didn’t earn. Now, they battle it out.
In what was Ricky’s first singles match in WWE NXT, Ricky had a tough task, as Ridge Holland brought the fight from the beginning and had Ricky scratching and clawing to get back in control. While the crowd was fully behind Saints, Ridge Holland tuned out the noise and focused on hurting the newcomer.
While Ricky had some moments in the early going, every time he started to mount a comeback, Ridge Holland put him back down and really put a target on the back of Saints. In the end though, it was Ricky Saints who used his speed to outsmart the big man and finished him off with his Rochambeau.
